Dayton Fire Department

The Dayton Fire Department is dedicated to the safety of everyone who lives, works, visits and plays in the city of Dayton. With 12 stations and 368 personnel, the department provides the Dayton community with professional firefighting, citizen rescue services, pre-hospital emergency medical care and transportation to emergency rooms.

The mission of the Dayton Fire Department is committed to providing the highest level of broad-based fire, health and rescue services to those entrusted to our care. We will prevent harm to people, their property and the environment through education and prevention programs. We will limit and mitigate harm when and where required. We will be active, productive and responsive members of the community.
